Chronic Pain
Chronic Pain – Some Pain Syndromes Occur In Women
That’s a great question. There are some specific pain syndromes that tend to occur in women. Well, unfortunately for women, their dominant hormone is basically estradiol. Unfortunately for them, estradiol inhibits collagen synthesis. In other words, when a woman is injured she is more likely than a man to not heal that injury. Basically, women are just going to have more pain than men. Men are full of testosterone, which stimulates collagen synthesis, or it stimulates healing.
Chronic Pain – Why More Pain In Women Than Men?
Women’s physiology is often anti-healing whereas men’s physiology is pro-healing. Right away you’re going to have more in favor of a man healing an injury than a woman. This is why there’s more pain in women than in men. Also, women typically have less muscle mass than men and this is one of the reasons why women tend to have more body fat then men. It’s kind of the same reason that men have a lot more anabolic hormones, like DHEA testosterone, than a woman. Both males and females have the same medical condition; it’s just there is a propensity for certain medical conditions to occur in women.
Chronic Pain – Example Medical Conditions Occur In Women
For example, migraine headaches occur more in women, fibromyalgia, which is a diffused body pain occurs more in women, and women tend to have more pelvic problems than men. However, in general, they both get chronic pain and they both have painful conditions that respond well to Prolotherapy. It’s just if a woman comes in and she’s middle aged or older, then it might behoove her to let us delve into her overall health and possibly get her hormonal make up “more male,” if you will, or more anabolic, so she will heal better. Caring Medical
Person’s Experience At Caring Medical
Often we receive emails days, months, even years, after a patient has been here saying complimentary things regarding a person’s experience at Caring Medical. We’re fortunate in the fact that we have staff that care, we just have staff that really, really care. One of the things we try to do with all of our clients is after they receive Prolotherapy injections they’ll get a call the next business day, to see how they’re doing. If someone is a new client we have a person that contacts them to make sure that the experience was good.
Often that person will email Caring Medical and just tell us that they have been to a lot of doctors and a lot of health care facilities and that those health care facilities just didn’t listen to them. The person just didn’t sense that they cared, they were just going to do an epidural shot, or they were just going to determine were you or were you not a surgical candidate and they didn’t really care what you had to say about any of it.
The Golden Rule Of Caring Medical
The golden rule, no matter your religion, is that you should do unto others as you would have them do unto you. In other words, treat other people as you would want to be treated. Now, I’m not perfect. I do get some nasty emails from people, saying that I wasn’t kind to them, but it’s very, very rare. I, like my staff, try my best to do unto others as I would have them do unto me. We try to treat people the way we’d want to be treated. I try to listen, because I believe that the best way to determine what’s wrong with a person is by talking to them.
One Slogan Of Caring Medical
Sometimes all you have to do is talk to a person, they see that you care, and of course if you do treatments that are helpful in a loving manner, that’s just a great combination for success. I think that between the way we answer the phones, the person is greeted when they come, the people that they meet, the time that we spend, the follow-up that we have, the results that they get, the combination of all that, I would say, is the Caring Medical experience. One of our slogans is, “the care of the patient begins with Caring”. We aren’t called Caring Medical by accident, caring is in our name because caring is what we do. Why Do Some People Not Heal From Their Original Injury
Why Do Some People Not Heal From Their Original Injury: How Will Prolotherapy Help Body Didn’t Originally Heal The Injury?
This is a very good question. Caring Medical gets emails from all over the country, all over the world, concerning people who are getting Prolotherapy at various clinics and not responding. They read things I have written or things on our website and they think to themselves, “Well, I tried Prolotherapy. Why didn’t it work?” or people think “How will Prolotherapy help me if my body didn’t originally heal the injury?” because we are saying that, all Prolotherapy does is start the healing process, so why didn’t the person heal from the get-go?
Well, first of all, there are Prolotherapy doctors that inject steroids along with the Prolotherapy. That makes absolutely no sense. Another reason is that there are doctors who do Prolotherapy and use effective Prolotherapy solutions, but they just do one or two shots. That does not work. You need to treat the whole area that is causing the pain. If you just treat a little area and there are many structures that are injured and are therefore causing the pain, you are only going to get a small response. You aren’t going to get a full response.
Why Do Some People Not Heal From Their Original Injury: Another Reason
The third reason is that sometimes the person has a healing deficit. I’ll be honest with you; the most common healing deficit we see is because people are taking medications that inhibit healing. In other words, if you’re taking an anti-inflammatory medication or you are taking a narcotic medication, or you’re taking both, I’m telling you, these inhibit your healing. And, that is one of the reasons why you continue to have pain. If you are on the birth control pill, or if you’re on hormone replacement and one of the ingredients is estradiol, estradiol inhibits fibroblastic proliferation. Prolotherapy stimulates the fibroblasts which make collagen, which is what makes up ligaments and tendons.
Why Do Some People Not Heal From Their Original Injury: How Prolotherapy Heal Injury?
If you are on something that inhibits healing and you get an injury that might be the reason that you don’t heal. You have to get Prolotherapy, and you have to get off of what you are on. That’s what we do. We get you off of things that inhibit healing. We take your body from a catabolic state, which just means the body is in a non-healing state or a degenerative state. We take it from this degenerative state, because you are on anti-inflammatories, or narcotics, or you’re eating lousy, or you are on birth control pills, and that’s a catabolic state. We take you off of those bad things and we get you on good things that stimulate healing, like the Hauser Diet, supplements, perhaps natural hormone replacement with testosterone or something like that which will stimulate healing. We make your physiology anabolic, which means it’s healing, it’s getting stronger.
Then, when you do Prolotherapy, it works, because your body’s in a healing mode. Then all we have to do is stimulate healing and the body will heal. There’s nothing suppressing it, you get three to six visits, you get back to your life. It’s kind of a joke I say to people, “you’re going to divorce me soon, aren’t you?” Everyday day people are divorcing me because they’re getting better. As Dr. William J. Mayo said, “the aim of medicine is to prevent disease and prolong life. The ideal of medicine is to eliminate the need of a physician.” That’s what I believe in. In other words, whether you have hypertension or you have chronic pain, my job, and Caring Medical’s job, is to get you healthy so that you never need us ever again, and you won’t need to see other doctors because of chronic pain. Prolotherapy : What is Prolotherapy and How Does it Work?
Prolotherapy is a treatment that stimulates the body to repair painful areas. Most people with pain have degeneration in an area or they have something injured. What they need to get them over the pain is to have the tissues regenerated or repaired. The treatment that regenerates tissues, like joints, ligaments, and tendons, is called Prolotherapy. It’s also known as regenerative injection therapy. Prolotherapy injections specifically stimulate the body to repair painful areas.
Prolothery Stimulate That Area To Heal?
Most of us can relate to exercise, most of us exercise. As a matter of fact, exercise is probably the best anti-aging remedy. We all should be exercising. What happens with exercise, especially weight lifting, or aerobic exercises that a person feels stiff after the exercise, is that the exercise specifically broke down some of the muscle tissue, some of the other tissues in the body, and the body feels stiffness. What happens after that is the body’s immune system is stimulated to repair the area. So the muscles specifically get thicker, stronger, and more blood supply. With Prolotherapy, we are trying to simulate the exact same thing that happens to the body during exercise or after an injury. When a person sprains an ankle for instance, there is tissue that’s torn, and that torn tissue releases substances that attract the immune system to the area.
Prolotherapy – How Immune System Help Build Collagen?
Once the immune system is in the area it acts like little carpenters in that the cells help build collagen, which makes up the ligaments, tendons, and joints. With Prolotherapy we are injecting substances that attract the immune system to the area. Then, again, once the immune system is there, the same healing process, which we’ve termed “inflammation” occurs. The inflammatory process that occurs after exercise or after Prolotherapy is the process by which the body regenerates injured structures to get them healthy again, strong again. Specifically, Prolotherapy causes ligaments, tendons, and joint structures to be thicker, stronger, so that they can withstand more force. Thus the person can then, after Prolotherapy, walk without pain, they can jump, they can run, basically get back to all their normal activities. What Is A Soft Tissue Injury And Can Prolotherapy Help It?
Soft tissue injuries are injuries to tendons, ligaments, meniscus, and labral tissue. These tissues are made up of collagen. Collagen makes up one third of the human body. Injuries such as a rotator cuff tear, a ligament sprain, tendon tear, tendon injury, tendinosis, which is a degenerated tendon, a degenerated meniscus, a meniscus tear, a degenerated labrum, or a labral tear are examples of soft tissue injuries.
These injuries all respond amazingly to Prolotherapy injections. Prolotherapy, specifically is the injection of substances that stimulate the healing of soft tissues so, I think the treatment of choice for a soft tissue injury should be Prolotherapy.

Sports Injury Rehabilitation Treatments to Avoid – Therapies That Stimulate Healing
What’s an athlete to do when a coach, a trainer, or even the team physician recommends a treatment that is anti-healing? Well, absolutely the athlete has got to take care of their body. If you have an injury, you have to do therapies that stimulate healing. Therapies such as heat, motion, exercise, supplements, diet, and other therapies, such as physical therapy and Prolotherapy, stimulate healing. If an athlete, with every injury they have, does therapies like that, which stimulate healing, there’s a very good chance that athlete will go through their athletic career completely fine. They’ll heal injuries, they won’t have any long term sequelae, like arthritis or chronic pain, because they healed all their injuries.
Sports Injury Rehabilitation Treatments to Avoid- Don’t Do Anti Healing Therapies
Once an athlete stops healing, it’s usually because they had a tendon tear, tendonitis, or a ligament injury, and they started using anti-inflammatory and anti-healing therapies. The anti-healing therapies are R.I.C.E. (Rest Ice Compression Elevation). Anti-inflammatory medications are things like ibuprofen, Naproxen, Aleve, and cortisone shots. Once you start doing those therapies, you are inhibiting the body’s ability to heal. If you inhibit the body’s ability to heal, you’re going to be left with a weakened ligament, a weakened tendon, an unstable joint, and all that is going to happen is that you are going to accelerate the arthritic process, which means you will end up with chronic pain.
Sports Injury Rehabilitation Treatments to Avoid- Every Runner Should Have
It may be harder to cure you of your pain while you are actively in season, but at least you can still play. If you’re a professional athlete you have to be on the roster, because once you are off the roster and you’re on the disabled list…. Well, the quickest way to get on the disabled list is to do therapies that inhibit healing. So, don’t do therapies that inhibit healing. Every athlete should have their own personal advisor, whether it’s a doctor, or a trainer, or a nutritionist, just someone who is looking at you, who is not affiliated with the team, that will give you straight up advice, what to do, and what not to do. You have to realize, a coach is primarily concerned with their season. Where as a physician, I’m concerned with this season, but I’m concerned with you, as well as you in the next season after that, and so on. For further info, head over to the following link (Sports Injury Rehabilitation Treatments to Avoid).
I’m going to be 48 years old soon. However, I still run, I still bike, I still cycle. You may be playing baseball now. But trust me. When you are 48, you’re still going to want to be playing baseball. You still may want to swim. You still may want to run. Is it worth it for you to get a cortisone shot so that you can do something now, but by next season, you’ve weakened those ligaments, you’ve weakened your cartilage and then you can’t play college sports? Then as you get older you can’t play soccer with your buddies because your knee is all messed up. It’s not worth it. It’s just not worth it. Just do what is best for your body.

Conditions Are Most Often Treated With Prolotherapy
Conditions Are Most Often Treated With Prolotherapy – Number One Condition Cause Knee Pain
The number one condition that we see at Caring Medical, in Oak Park, Illinois, is knee pain. The number one cause of knee pain that we see is knee degeneration. Knee arthritis, it’s the number one thing we see in the office and it responds great to Prolotherapy. We keep a lot of people away from knee replacements or arthroscopy because they respond so well to Prolotherapy. The most common knee conditions that we see in the office are knee arthritis. Chondromalacia patella, which is just cartilage deterioration beneath the knee cap, some people call it patellofemoral joint syndrome, or a tracking problem of the knee cap. We see a lot of meniscal tears, as well as ligament tears, ligament injuries, knee-joint subluxations, and pes anserinus tendonitis bursitis.
Conditions Are Most Often Treated With Prolotherapy – Most Common Cause For Low Back Pain
The number two condition or area that we see most often here at the office is low back pain. The most common cause that I see for low back pain isn’t degenerated discs, though that responds very well to Prolotherapy injections. The most common condition that we see is sacroiliac problems. We see a lot of subluxation of the sacroiliac joints, sacroiliac ligament injuries. We also see a lot of piriformis syndrome. We do see a lot of facet syndrome, spondylolisthesis, spondylosis, various arthritic conditions of the back. Typically, all of these respond very well to Prolotherapy treatment.
Conditions Are Most Often Treated With Prolotherapy – Neck Pain, Chronic Neck Pain, Or Chronic Headaches
Probably the third most common area that we see is neck pain, chronic neck pain, or chronic headaches. The most common reason that we see for that is myelopathic pain syndrome, we see a lot of spondylosis or arthritis degeneration in the neck, a lot of subluxations, a lot of cervical instabilities. They respond amazingly to Prolotherapy. You have to realize that any type of ligament injury, tendon injury, soft tissue injury, meaning that the person has a diffused pain in the joint, the cartilage in the joint is very good. That it involves the other structures in the joint, those conditions typically respond excellently to Prolotherapy. The Importance of MRI’s, X-Rays, and a Proper Diagnosis
The Importance of MRI’s, X-Rays, and a Proper Diagnosis – How Do You Diagnose A Chronic Pain Condition Or Sports Injury Problem?
How do you diagnose a chronic pain condition or sports injury problem? Do you recommend MRI’s or X-rays? I love the question “how do you diagnose what’s wrong with a person? How do you know what’s causing their pain?” I love the question, because as most people know from the internet, if they’ve read anything about me specifically, that I’m not a strong advocate of MRI’s. The reason is that most of the time when people come to see me the diagnosis I give them is different than the MRI. All that an MRI can do is show that there’s bone overgrowth, there’s a degenerated disc, or that something’s torn. That can not tell you what is definitely causing the pain. I was taught in medical school, as most young doctors are taught, that 70% of how you can tell what is wrong with somebody is by talking to them. That is getting to be a lost art. The number 1 way I would tell what is wrong with someone is by talking to them. One of my professors in medical school once said, “If you talk to someone long enough, they will tell you what’s wrong.”
The Importance of MRI’s, X-Rays, and a Proper Diagnosis – Best Thing To Do
You would order a test just to confirm what you already know from the history. If you know how to take a history, and the physical exam will confirm the history, that data will then tell you what’s wrong with somebody. If you need to do a test, the test should just confirm what you already know from the history primarily and the physical exam secondarily.
The Importance of MRI’s, X-Rays, and a Proper Diagnosis – It’s Surgery The Best Solution?
Let’s think about it. Let’s just say you had a surgery and you still have the pain. Then, as common sense dictates, the surgery did not address the reason you had the pain, meaning that the diagnosis was wrong. Even if the doctor did the surgery correctly and they corrected what was wrong on the MRI, it means that what is causing your pain isn’t the abnormality on the MRI. That’s why I’m not a strong proponent of MRIs unless somebody is getting ready for surgery. If I had gone through Prolotherapy, and if I had exhausted all my other options and surgery was the only one left, of course I would get an MRI. This way the surgeon would know exactly what the abnormalities are. But, an MRI doesn’t tell you what is causing your pain. Your history is the primary method, second is physical exam, and then third are various tests. To obtain more info, feel free to head over to the next link (The Importance of MRI’s, X-Rays, and a Proper Diagnosis).

Knee Injury Treatment
Knee Injury Treatment – Most Common Injury For Runner
Any doctor, like me, who treats athletes, is going to see a lot of runners. Runners notoriously get injured at one point or another in their career. The most common injury that we see in runners is related to the knee. The most common injury that you see in the knee is runner’s knee, or jumper’s knee, which is an injury to the patellar ligament or patellar tendon. The injury responds really well to Prolotherapy.
Knee Injury Treatment – Meniscus Injuries
Runners can get any type of injury around the knee, especially to the meniscus. If a runner has swelling, it is most likely that the swelling is because they injured their meniscus. Meniscus injuries, whether it’s meniscus degeneration or a meniscus tear, respond very well to Prolotherapy treatment. Ligament injuries, ACL injuries, and chondromalacia patella respond amazingly to Prolotherapy injections. Often when runners have knee pain, the patella isn’t tracking correctly. The patella is supposed to track in a groove in the femur, but when the patella is out to the side and it tracks poorly, that’s called patellofemoral tracking syndrome or patellofemoral pain syndrome.
Knee Injury Treatment – Chondromalacia Patella
When this problem causes cartilage deterioration it’s called chondromalacia patella. Just as a side note, anyone who has had knee surgery or knee arthroscopy, look on your arthroscopy report, you’ll be shocked to see that it says chondromalacia patella. Ninety plus percent of arthroscopy reports that I’ve seen, the doctor saw that your cartilage was deteriorating. I believe the best treatment for cartilage deterioration is Prolotherapy. I’m confident that long term studies, X-rays, and MRI’s are going to show that Prolotherapy treatments are the best treatment to regenerate cartilage in an athlete. Anyone with chondromalacia patella should get Prolotherapy. For more disc treatment and cure, head over to the next (Knee Injury Treatment).

Prolotherapy Treatment – Very Common For Runners Involved In Running Sports
It’s very common for runners or athletes that are involved in running sports to call us because they have a foot problem. The most common foot problem that we see is either ligament injury around the ankle, that’s the most common ligament injury, when you sprain your ankle. Often ligament injuries don’t heal, about half of ankle sprains, give or take ten percent, don’t actually heal completely. You might get pain free, but now all of a sudden you have excessive joint mobility. That excessive joint mobility makes it more likely for you to get an ankle sprain in the future. If the ligament healed completely, it wouldn’t have an increased rate of getting a second ankle sprain.
Why sports injuries often occur again and again on athletes is because the tissue wasn’t completely healed. Why the tissue wasn’t completely healed? Because the athlete did RICE and anti-inflammatories. Your ankle hurts and you want to run tomorrow so you take an anti-inflammatory. You’d be amazed at how often we hear that athletes before they play tennis, or whatever, because their body hurts they take an anti-inflammatory. I mean, your body is hurting for a reason; your body is hurting because some tissue is injured. The treatment should be to get the tissue healed. If you continue to play athletics on an injured joint, even if you can’t feel it because you’re taking an anti-inflammatory. It’s going to lead to further injury, further treatments, more invasive treatments. Is a joint replacement really what you want as an athlete?
Prolotherapy Treatment – Another Common Foot Injury
Another common foot injury that we see is runners is Plantar Fasciitis. But, let me say one thing from the get-go, most cases of Plantar Fasciitis are not true Plantar Fasciitis. In other words, it’s not an inflamed Plantar Fascia, you can touch the Plantar Fascia, it’s not hot, and it’s not enflamed. It’s a degenerated Plantar Fascia. Right from the get-go, it’s not Plantar Fasciitis, so it doesn’t make sense to be injecting steroids in there which is just going to further degenerate the Plantar Fascia. What a degenerated Plantar Fascia needs is Prolotherapy. Prolotherapy stimulates the regeneration of the degenerated Plantar Fascia. Generally after one, two, three, four visits, the runner is back to running. The good thing as it relates to sports and Prolotherapy is that Prolotherapy doesn’t interfere with the training of the athlete. So, you can train while you get Prolotherapy.
A common injury that we see in runners, especially runners with foot problems, is pain in the heel. Most of the time they’ve had the boot, they did various stretches, but their Plantar Fascia still hurts a lot. Unfortunately, many of them come having already received a cortisone shot and cortisone shots just degenerate the Plantar Fascia further. If an athlete has had pain in a body part for more than a few months, I’m telling you, it’s a degenerated structure. A degenerated structure needs regeneration. The treatment of regenerating a structure is called Prolotherapy. Prolotherapy involves the proliferation of cells. Say this is the heel (holds up fist) and you have the plantar fascia that attaches to it. What that degenerated Plantar Fascia needs is Prolotherapy, you need it regenerated.
Now, when the degenerated Plantar Fascia continues over time the body, to strengthen that attachment where the Plantar Fascia attaches, will overgrow a bone. The overgrowth of one on the Plantar Fascia is what is known as a bone spur. I’ve got a bone spur on my heel, can Prolotherapy help? Well, yes Prolotherapy can help because the body is trying to Prolotherapy itself. But, it’s not doing it, you’re still having pain. We would just speed the process along. An athlete should think about Prolotherapy as hyperdriving the injury to heal quicker. Do you want the injury healed quickly? Well, then get Prolotherapy. Prolotherapy can stimulate the healing many, many times. Also what athletes don’t realize is often when you get a degenerated Plantar Fascia, the ligament support of the arch is also a problem.
Prolotherapy can also help the ligament support of the foot arch. There’s a very important ligament that supports the ligament on the bottom of the foot and that’s called the spring ligament. When I see someone with Plantar Fascia problems or foot problems, one of the structures that I’ll evaluate is the spring ligament and often they need to get Prolotherapy in their spring ligament which will help repair that area. Then the arch support is much greater. Once they get the degenerated Plantar Fascia repaired with Prolotherapy their foot pain is gone and they’re back to running.
